Orbit and Atom

Terms of service

Last updated

By using orbitandatom.com (the "site"), you agree to these terms. The site is run by Marcos Salles.

Information only

The site publishes general information about space and science for readers who are curious about it. It is not professional, technical or safety advice.

About dates and sky events

Dates, times and distances come from official sources that are current when an article is published or updated. Missions change plans, and what you can see in the sky depends on your location, the weather and light pollution. We work to keep information accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or up to date. Never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection.

Independence

Orbit and Atom is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for NASA, ESA or any other agency or organization mentioned on the site.

Advertising

The site may show ads served by third parties such as Google. An ad is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for advertisers' products or services.

Links to other sites

Articles link to outside sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

Intellectual property

The text and design of the site belong to Orbit and Atom unless noted otherwise. Images are credited to their owners and used under their terms; NASA images are in the public domain. You may quote short passages with a link to the original page.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Orbit and Atom is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or reliance on its content.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
